Filmische expressie met sludgemetal

Daar waar bij Deafening nog iets van poppy randjes te bespeuren waren, trekt de tweede band van de avond, Starve, de zaal mee het duister in. Afzakkend naar diepe afgronden. Met hun sludgemetal zorgen tempowisseling voor sterk contrast binnen de set. Soortgelijk onderscheid wordt ook met de zang gegenereerd: harde en hoge schelle partijen afgewisseld met diepe grunt. Gedurende de lange instrumentale partijen hangt de zanger vermoeid over de microfoon om de zaal vervolgens nog dieper zijn spons der ellendigheid in te zuigen. De tracks worden in een lange ononderbroken set gespeeld, waardoor het een mooie, bijna filmische, lading krijgt. Interactie met het publiek schiet er daardoor echter wel bij in.

No thanks, buddy! I hate advertisements. I hate tv because of all the advertisements. I hate having to wait for an ad to finish before I can watch a video online. If anything, it makes me close the browser window that video was about to play in, BECAUSE I HATE THAT SHIT. So, again - no thanks.
